Florida Orchestra principal oboist Katherine Young says the musicians have met with teens from a conservatory on the island and were impressed by their sophistication. They are scheduled to perform later Friday at a historic church in Old Havana.

Young said a shared love of music can "help bridge the gap" between citizens of the two Cold War foes.
