The Cuban Minister for Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez, and the Acting Foreign Minister of Bhutan, Daw Penjo, penned on Monday at the UN headquarters, the agreement marking the official beginning of bonds between their countries.

Cuba currently maintains diplomatic relations with 184 countries out of 193 UN member states, according to a report published by Granma newspaper today.

Bhutan is a small mountainous country located in the south of Asia, in the eastern stretch of the Himalaya mountain range. Its economy is mainly based on agriculture.(ACN)
