Ian Padron’s Habanastation will be submitted to the US Academy Awards for the best foreign language film category. The Oscars nominations will be announced January 24, 2012 and the awards ceremony will take place February 26 in Los Angeles, California.

Meanwhile Ticket to Paradise by Gerardo Chijona will fight to be among finalists to the Spanish 2012 Goya Awards on the best Hispano American film category, Granma newspaper announced.(ACN)
