“Our music and our culture is a heritage for all Cubans; it is our responsibility to take care of it, to preserve it and to promote it,” said Hugo Cancio, president of Fuego Entertainment, the promoter of the tour.

The tour of the legendary band, called the Rolling Stones of Salsa by critics and specialized magazines, began at the Conga Room of Los Angeles and it will continue with performances at New York’s SOB on September 22 and 23.

The first part of the tour will conclude one day later at the Ache Super Club of Miami, Florida.

The second part of this U.S. tour will begin on November 22. In a three-week span, Los Van Van will then perform in San Francisco, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago, Texas, and New York again. (ACN)
