Robles, world record holder in this discipline with 12.87 seconds, showed once again that he’s at the peak of his fitness, when he arrived on the finishing line in a time of 13 seconds.  Jason Richardson (USA-13.04), World Champion in Daegu, ended second, whiel David Oliver (USA-13.20), fourth at that Asian city’s competition, finished third.

Following them were Dwight Thomas (JAM-13.25 seconds), Andrew Turner (GBR-13.33), Joel Brown (USA-13.42), Omo Osaghae (USA-13.85) and Jurica Grabusic (CRO-14.65), according to the event’s Web site.

Other winners of the day were Usain Bolt (JAM-9.85 s) and Carmelita Jeter (USA-11.00) in the 100 meters; Zoltan Kovago (HUN-64.91 m) in discus; and Schillonie Calvert (JAM-22.55) in 200, among others.(ACN)
