First Birthday of Los Galanes Aztecas Mariachi Band

2011.09.05 - 08:46:54 / radiorebelde.icrt.cu / Santa Isabel de las Lajas, Cienfuegos, Cuba.-  Through many cities and towns of the Cuban archipelago, the Cuban public enjoys the performances of the Los galanes aztecas Mariachi group from Cienfuegos province that will be celebrating in September 2nd its first anniversary of being created.

The group was formed thanks to the initiative of Sander Monzón Pérez, who has achieved the great acceptance of the Mexican music from that municipality in Cienfuegos which has spread into other Cuban regions.

The members of the above mentioned band have been together since they were children and have formed as musicians through infantile groups that have existed in that region, according to Marilyn Herrera from the Municipal Direction of Culture.
