By: Ileana Ferrer Fonte. Havana, Aug 31 (Prensa Latina) The National Council of the Federation of University Students (FEU) of Cuba is closing Wednesday two days of debates, after assessing results of the 2010-2011 school year and defining priorities for the next course.

During a meeting held at Havana's Information Sciences University, the 157-member council has discussed issues pertaining to academic and investigative work and assistance to training professors.

They also debate on the extension of university studies, and the organization's election process, to begin in September.
