25 August 2011.Havana — The diplomatic corps in Cuba on Tuesday paid homage to the outgoing Angolan ambassador to this Caribbean country, António José Condesse de Carvalho "Toka".

Speaking in the act, the Dean of the diplomatic corps in Cuba, the ambassador of Congo, Pascal Onguemby, highlighted the diplomatic work developed by the Angolan diplomat and, on behalf of the diplomatic corps, wished him success in his coming duties.

Meanwhile, the Angolan diplomat thanked the support, collaboration and solidarity of the community of representatives of various countries accredited in Cuba and remembered the difficult situation of Angola when he started his mission to Cuba.

"Currently, Angola is totally in peace and Angolans are engaged in the reconstruction of the country that in almost nine years presents an economic level of development that causes admiration to the international community" stressed the Angolan diplomat.
