By: Jennifer Socorro Ramon.Havana, Aug 15 (Prensa Latina) The popular Brazilian actor Marcos Frota is working to bring the Cuban circus to Brazil in July 2012 for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

In an exclusive interview with Prensa Latina, Frota, who also directed the first free circus university in Brazil, said he intended to bring his own company, Unicirco, to Cuba in early 2016.

Frota was impressed by the warm welcome he received from Cubans, who remember his performance as Tonho da Lua in the TV soup opera Women of Sand. He chaired the jury for the category of Criticism and Image in the recently-concluded 10th International Festival Circuba 2011.

"Cuba has moved me; you can be seen a vast social awareness and above all, a great feeling of peace," the actor said
