Pan American Games Tickets Sales Increased

2011.08.10 - 16:07:24 / radiorebelde.icrt.cu / Pan American Games Tickets Sales IncreasedHavana, Cuba.- Nearly two weeks from the beginning of selling of the tickets for the Pan American Games, the ticket office located in the Liberación Square in Guadalajara, has generated an increase of the selling of tickets for the upcoming aforementioned tournament. Its current number shows up to 200 thousand seats sold.

According to the website of the tournament, the greatest demand is related to the final rounds of the competition and there are events already sold out. Therefore, there are studies being carried out to increase the capacity in some venues such as the Scotiabank Aquatic Center and the Code Dome center where the basketball competitions will be carried out. Moreover, Andrés Laban, main responsible of the Promotion and Tickets Sale, declared that it is possible to buy tickets for some collective sports, as well as seats that are still available for the inauguration and closing ceremony of the prestigious tournament.

“Labán also added that there will be soon mobile tickets offices available for the public and recalled that since some weeks ago there have also been other authorized institutions of the Ticketmaster system carrying out a similar selling process, located in Liverpool, Galerías square, Fábricas de Francia, Patria square, Gandhi and López Cotilla bookstores and in the airport. Moreover, he also declared that there are over 400 tickets available, as well as the implementation through internet of the shopping car option which allows buying tickets for some sports disciplines at the time.

“It is a tool already implemented with which has been bought more than 4 thousand tickets and it is a lot of easier. However, we recommend the public to check the list of each sport discipline, which is displayed in the Pan American Games ´webpage, before buying the above mentioned tickets.” Andrés Laban, Mexican sports official and member of the Pan American Games ´organizing committee, concluded.
