Three U.S. travel service providers announced the Cuban government granted landing rights for their charter flights from four U.S. airports that will offer Cuba service for the first time.

The charter companies include Miami-based Marazul Charters for Atlanta-Havana flights; Miami-based Airline Brokers Co. for Fort Lauderdale-Havana flights; and Los Angeles-based Cuba Travel Services Inc., which has been granted landing rights for flights from San Juan, P.R, Fort Lauderdale and Houston.

The announcements follow news earlier this week that Cuba granted landing rights to Miami-based ABC Charters and Xael Charters for Tampa-Havana flights.

Cuba, according to Reuters, granted landing rights to flights from nine new U.S. airports, including Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans and San Juan. Since the 1990s, only Miami, New York JFK and Los Angeles had been allowed to host Cuba flights.

Marazul is the largest U.S. travel provider to Cuba and offers flights to various destinations from Miami and New York. Marazul didn’t provide a start date for Atlanta flights. Airline Brokers, according to the Fort Lauderdale airport, will begin flights Sept. 12. CTS, which already offers Los Angeles-Havana, Miami-Havana, and Miami-Cienfuegos flights, only said its new routes will be to “authorized airports in Cuba” and didn’t provide a start date. The San Juan flights will be to both Havana and Santiago.

Michael Zuccato, general manager of CTS, said that his company is negotiating with air carriers and that service will be on chartered Airbus, Boeing 737, MD-80 and ATR-72 aircraft. Marazul partnered with Delta Airlines for the Atlanta flights. Airline Brokers will offer its Fort Lauderdale-Havana flights via JetBlue Airways.
