2011.07.13 - 13:37:25 /radiorebelde.icrt.cu. HAVANA, CUBA.-  Cuba and China ratified in Beijing their political will in further strengthen bilateral relations, during a meeting marking the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of the Asian nation (PCCh) held in the Cuban embassy to that country.

Cuban ambassador Carlos Miguel Pereira said the occasion served to recognize the value and extraordinary willpower of the Chinese organization in defending the flags of Socialism, Prensa Latina reported.

Miguel Pereira said the leadership of the PCCh for more than six decades has allowed the country to grow into a modern and stable socialist nation.

The diplomat spoke up to increase mutual knowledge so that both countries can continue finding solutions aimed at fostering bilateral relations, which marked the 50th anniversary last year.

Chen Fengxiang, deputy chief of the International Department of the PCCh’s Central Committee thanked the Cuban mission for the homage and pointed out that in the process of the its revolution and development, China has received the support of Cuba being the first country to establish diplomatic relations with Beijing.

In the meeting, authorities talked about the most recent events between both countries including the visit of Vice President Xi Jinping to Havana in June. (ACN)
