As much Robles as Oliver registered a time keeping of 13.09 seconds but the photo-finish decision favored Robles, current Olympic Champion and world record-holder.

Jamaican Dwight Thomas concluded in the third place, with 13.18 seconds.

In other competitions, Bahaman Christopher Brown won the gold medal at the 400 flat meters with 44.94 seconds; French Mahiedine Mekhissi was the winner in the 3,000 steeplechase and also French Renaud Lavillenie won the pole vault with 5.73 meters.
