Special Invitation to Join a Humanitarian Tour to Cuba

Dear Friends,

You might have heard about the recent changes in U.S. law easing restrictions on travel to Cuba for certain types of tourism programs. Friendly Planet is now offering a new series of Humanitarian Relief tours to Cuba beginning in October of 2011.

We have organized several such missions to Cuba over the past year,coordinated through a humanitarian organization officially licensed by the United States Department of Treasury.

They were a great success, and interest far exceeded the available space on these trips. As a result, we have expanded our series of departures and can now make them available to all of our travelers who wish to participate in this special project.

I am very pleased to invite you to join us on one of our upcoming departures.Through these humanitarian tours, you'll be directly helping people in great need, especially young children by bringing medical supplies and educational materials with you, which are in very short supply in Cuba.

In addition, each tour will provide an incredible opportunity to interact with the local people one-on-one. Cuba is so much more than antique cars, salsa music and cigars, and you'll understand why Ernest Hemingway made it his home once you have visited this fascinating country, only 90 miles off our shores.

Each 7-night humanitarian mission includes:

Round-trip flights from Miami. (If you're coming from somewhere else, we can help arrange connecting flights.)

All ground transportation in Cuba.

All accommodations and all meals in Cuba (except one dinner in Havana).

Arranged visits to medical clinics and/or hospitals, schools, and local charities in Cuban communities to deliver much needed medical and other supplies directly to those in need.

Ample opportunities to interact with families, artists, and local communities,enjoy performing and visual arts, and gain insight into Cuban society, culture,sports, and the relationship between the U.S. and Cuba.
