By: Osmany González 13:55. Caracas, June 27 (Prensa Latina) More than 120 competitors from various countries will participate in the Vuelta Ciclista Venezuela cycling race July 13-23, according to cycling officials.

Participants are expected from Colombia, Cuba, Italy, Costa Rica, and the host country, said Artemio Leonett, president of the National Cycling Federation.

The national team will be lead by Jose Rujano, who placed seventh in the recent Giro d'Italia, one of the most important world cycling events, along with the Tour de France and Tour of Spain, Leonett said.

The will be divided in 12 stages for a total of 3,586 kilometers.

The Vuelta Ciclista has taken place annually since 1963, except for 1977.
