Cuban Council of Ministers Analyze Process to Update Economic Model.HAVANA, CUBA.-  Following the precept that part of the success in the overhaul of Cuba’s economic model depends on the comprehensiveness to address each of the problems that the country faces, the Cuban Council of Ministers held an expanded three-day session.

According to a note published on Monday by Granma newspaper, during the meeting, President Raul Castro reiterated the need to prioritize the search for solutions to the current complex economic issues.

Also attending the meeting along with the members of the Council of Ministers were leaders of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC), the State, the National Assembly of People’s Power (Parliament), the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC) and grassroots organizations, the Young Communist League (UJC) and the Provincial Administration Councils.

The note announces that, taking into account the importance of the subjects addressed in the meeting, the Cuban media will release more information on this issue in the coming days. (ACN)
