Havana, May 29 (Prensa Latina) The President of the Republic of Suriname, Desiré Delano Bouterse ended Saturday an official visit to Cuba, after he was said farewell by Cuban Vice President Esteban Lazo and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, Juventud Rebelde newspaper reported.

According to the newspaper, both sides expressed satisfaction with the results of the visit, which contubuted to patenting friendship and solidarity ties among two countries.

Both governments also expressed their commitment to strengthen bilateral relations for mutual benefit.

During Delano Bouterse's stay in Havana, he held official talks with Cuban President of Cuba Raul Castro.

Both leaders reviewed the state of bilateral relations and reiterated their willingness to work for its strengthening, as well as addressing other regional and international topics.
