Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Spencer Baldwin will arrive in Cuba Monday for a four-day visit focusing mainly on economic issues.
Among others, the small Caribbean nation seeks an air agreement for LIAT. The St. Johns, Antigua-based airline is planning to offer cargo service from 22 Eastern Caribbean airports to Cuba with same-day delivery.
Spencer will also talk about Cuban students pursuing degrees at the Antigua and Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute, Antiguan students studying medicine in Cuba, and Cuba helping establish a diagnostic center at a hospital in St. Johns.
Finally, Antigua and Barbuda is seeking Cuban engineers and technicians for water, road and quarry projects.
