The suite includes other genres indigenous to the island, American and European as well as a habanera, a joropo waltz, a bolero, a tap and a waltz.

To close the presentation, Fernandez will be joined by the Eastern Symphony Orchestra (OSO), under the baton of Enrique Pérez Mesa, in the interpretation of a program that the chief conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra valued as a tribute to the musical identity of the country.

The OSO-which for the occasion is enhanced by the strings of its counterpart of Holguín-will play the Sons of popular repertoire also taken into the symphonic format, such as Son de la loma, Compay Gallo, Chan Chan, Frutas del Caney, and A Bayamo en Coche, directed by the young Cossette Justo.

Frank Fernandez is also participating in the celebration of the disc as jury president of the First Competition of interpretation and improvisation of Cuban music, and their productions Novia Mía y El canto de mis abuelos (My Bride and The song of my grandparents) which are nominated in several categories.
