11 de mayo de 2011, 13:36Santiago de Cuba, May 11 (Prensa Latina) The 23rd International Terra-Cotta Conference will bring together artists from Cuba, Mexico and Curacao May 15-31 to discuss and exhibit this age-old clay sculpting technique.

Sponsored by the Luis Dias Eduardo Cultural Workshop, the event is focused on technical and conceptual exchanges about tendencies and innovations in this ceramics art.

Terra-cotta artists will create works at the Workshop, which has sponsored this conference since 1986.

The main exhibitions are Amor y Paloma by Guillermina Columbie, and the collective exhibit Barroarte.

The Terra-Cota conference alternates every two years with InterNos, devoted to mural painting, which brings together artists from different latitudes who leave behind the testimony of thir gathering on the streets, parks and walls of the city.
