Presently on a tour of Europe, the Cuban artist recently won the 2011 Jazz Talent Prize granted by Adami, a society for the collective administration of performers’ rights, considered a passport to the greatest European music festivals, the Granma newspaper reported.

In his May 13 presentation at the French jazz club, Harold will be playing some of the songs included on his latest musical production El pais de las maravillas (Wonderland), produced by the World Village / Harmonia Mundi record company.

In this, his third album, Harold consolidates the trio he makes along with bass player Felipe Cabrera and his brother, drummer Ruy Adrian Lopez Nussa.

Puerto Rican saxophonist David Sanchez, one of the world’s most celebrated saxophone players, will be joining Harold on his tour, which will end in August.
