A CUBAN man has rolled a cigar almost as long as a football field to set a new Guinness World Record.Rolling veteran Castelar Cairo, has been making cigars since he was five years-old, but he has created his largest masterpiece yet with a monster 81.8m stogie, The Sun reported
He started working on the massive cigar with several assistants on April 25 and worked for up to eight hours a day.
The 67-year-old has made four attempts to get in to the record books including his first cigar record in 2001 with a stogie measuring 33m.
"The record for the largest cigar has to be in Cuba forever, because Cuba is the place with the best cigars in the world,'' Mr Cairo told The Sun.
The cigar was rolled as part of an event put on by the Cuban tourism ministry
Next time Mr Cairo hopes to break yet another record by topping 100m.
