HAVANA, Cuba, May 5 (acn) Cuban cyclists Lisandra Guerra, Yoanka González  and Marlies Mejías climbed to the top of the podium, in the third and fourth days of the Pan American track and Road Cycling Championships underway in the Colombian city of Medellin.

Guerra got the track of the Martin E. "Cochise" Rodríguez velodrome willing to get her second gold medal of the tournament and defeated in the sprint final (women), the Canadian and Pan American record holder Monique Sullivan.

For her part, Gonzalez beat in the ladies scratch the Colombian Lorena Vargas and Mexican Ingrid Drexel, said the website of the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI).

The other golden metal was won by the women's team made up of Yudelmis Domínguez-González-Mejías, who defeated in the team pursuit the representatives of Venezuela (Angie Gonzalez, Daniela Garcia and Liliana Chacón).

Juan Carlos Arias Perez in the race-by-points event finished third after accumulating 30 points.After these results Cuba gets a foothold in the second general positioning, with a total of four gold, two silver and three bronze medals, surmounted by the representatives of the host country, Colombia (8-3-3).
