2011.04.17 - 12:07:14 /radiorebelde.icrt.cu. HAVANA, Cuba. - Communist parties from all over the world have sent congratulation messages to their Cuban counterpart (PCC) on the occasion of its Sixth Congress, underway at Havana’s Convention Center.

The Chinese Communist Party (PCCh) sent a message congratulating the Cuban communists and the people in general. It adds that under the leadership of the PCC, the Cuban people works hard to develop the national economy and to improve the population’s life standards, and have gained international support for this reason.

According to Prensa Latina news agency, the message reads that the four-day Congress will have a significant impact on the development of Socialism in Cuba.

The document also states that the Chinese communist party and people have always seen the bilateral bonds from a strategic and long-term perspective and are committed to develop the traditional friendship of the two peoples.

Russian Duma vice-president Ivan Melnikov spoke to PL and forwarded a message to the Cuban communists wishing them a successful Congress and congratulated Cuba for the 50th anniversary of the Bay of Pigs victory.

Melnikov, who is the second secretary of the Russian Federation Communist Party, will arrive this Sunday in Havana. He said it will be a nice experience to visit the museum where objects related to the Bay of Pigs victory are exhibited and added he will take a floral wreath to mark the historical date.

Communist parties from Denmark and Luxemburg also sent messages, reported the Cuban Foreign Ministry in its website. (ACN)
