The facility, run by the Spanish hotel chain Sol Meliá, has earned some 1400 positive reviews in the TripAvisor website, which gathers the opinions of tourist from all over the world on their experiences in hotels, destinations and other tourist attractions.

“A trip to paradise”, “my best vacations ever”, “heaven on Earth” and “the nicest people I’ve met”, are some of the reviews published in the site on this eco-resort, that on top of its high end facilities has a great staff.

This is a five star all inclusive hotel, ideal for honeymooners, weddings and those seeking to improve their health. It has 356 rooms, including 56 with Royal Service, with the highest standard of elegance and comfort, Yeni Rosabal, sales specialist, told ACN news agency.

Some of the guests have come 30 times or more, after having a pleasant and unforgettable stay, she said.

She added as an example that in one given week last March, out of the 500 clients they had, 200 were in their second or more visit, which proves the satisfaction and preference they have for this hotel.

Paradisus Río de Oro has 8 specialized restaurants, five bars and it offers spas, saunas, Jacuzzis, along dancing lessons, scuba diving and eco-tourism.

Other hotels run by Melia have received outstanding reviews in TripAdvisor: Meliá Buenavista, in Santa María Key, Paradisus Princesa del Mar and Paradisus Varadero, in the namesake beach resort 140 kilometers east of Havana city, and Melia Cayo Coco.

The Spanish chain runs 25 hotels and commercializes 31 percent of all 4 and 5 stars hotels in Cuba, with over 30 percent of the over 2 million tourist that come every year. ACN
