By: Ileana Ferrer Fonte. Havana, Apr 8 (Prensa Latina) The first Ibero-American and Caribbean School on Family Law was created in Cuba with the objective of training professionals and exchanging knowledge.

The center emerged from a proposal of the National Association of Cuban Lawyers (UNJC) in the framework of the 6th International Conference on Family Law, whose session will conclude today at Havana's Hotel Nacional.

The center has an educational and academic nature in the field of Criminal, Public and International Law, Olga Mesa, president of the Conference and the Cuban Society of Civil and Family Law of the UNJC, told Granma newspaper.

Mesa stated that the staff will be comprised of foreign professors, in charge of the internationalization of the issue in terms of its human, educational and ethical character.

Professionals from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Spain and the host country are attending the meeting.
