By: Estela McCollin.Pinar del Rio, Cuba, Apr 7 (Prensa Latina) Schools Against Hurricanes, a project of Cuban and European artists supported by UNICEF, will also benefit Haiti and other Caribbean countries, singer Raul Paz announced.

"We want to expand this program, which was initially created to help rebuild classrooms destroyed by hurricanes in Cuba," Paz told Prensa Latina. Paz is a UN Children's Fund goodwill ambassador.

In 2009 the project sponsored concerts in France, Spain and Havana, and now it will not only include concerts but also other presentations to raise money, including painting, theater and film, he said.

French, Cuban and Spanish artists will join together to pursue their efforts to benefit children and teens, said Paz, who announced his own world tour through December with a final stop in France.
