After the Monday matches, the way will be quite cleared for the 43 tickets at stake, 37 for men and 6 for the women.

"The contest has been successful up to now. We can see it because of the opening ceremony, the response of the audience, and the criteria of the 22 countries taking part, besides Venezuela," said Venezuelan Boxing Federation president Fran Lopez.

Lopez said the fighters's level is another reason to feel satisfied for the three first days of the contest.

"The competition has been quite strong, that is why we expect a great show in the semifinals Monday and in the finals Tuesday," he pointed out.

The conditions are created for the closing ceremony. Of all the tickets to compete in the Pan American Games, 28 of them already have a name.
