During a press conference, the president of the Festival, Rigoberto Lopez, announced an international forum on the reality of the Caribbean diaspora, scheduled for May 9-11 in Saint Kitts and Nevis.

More than 40 films were exhibited in more than ten countries of the region, within the context of the Third Traveling Caribbean Film Festival, which began in 2010 and will end in June, 2011.

Lopez encouraged film-makers from the region to present their works in the Fourth Festival to be exhibited in 2012.

The representative of the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) in Cuba, Herman Van Hooff talked about the significance of the event, which advocates for plurality, culture and dialogue in the region of the Caribbean.(ACN)
