MIAMI (WSVN) -- An annual South Florida block party has come to an end.Tons of people from across the globe attended Calle Ocho on Southwest Eighth Street between 11th and 27th Avenues, Sunday.

The annual street festival was filled with plenty of Latin food, drinks, music and dancing. "I'm 100 percent Cuban, and this is what Cubans do: Calle Ocho. You've got to make it here. This is what we do. I love it," said Natasha Gainza, who attends Calle Ocho every year.

Monica Pinglo also regularly attends the festival. "My family's from Peru, but I go every year," she said. "I love Peru, and I represent it here, and everybody knows that, and it's good to see South America, Central America, the Caribbean, everyone come together."

The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana has hosted Calle Ocho for more than 30 years, but offered something new for attendees this year. "We're bringing country to Calle Ocho. We've never had a country stage here, which we have this year on 12th Avenue," said Ross Jimenez of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana.

"I like, I like," said Tamel Montano, who recently moved to South Florida from Cuba and attended Calle Ocho for the first time.

Brian Grandison moved to South Florida from New Jersey. He also enjoyed his first time at the annual block party. "I enjoy the local scenery, some interesting tattoos, which is great," he said.Over 30 people were arrested during the festivities.
