Wednesday, 09 March 2011. Addis Ababa, March 9 (WIC) – Cubans working in Ethiopia express their desire to strengthen free service provision to Ethiopians. 

On the occasion of the celebration of International women’s day at Ethio-Cuba Park yesterday Cuba Embassy representative Amar Liyewa pledged to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries in memory of Cubans who lost their life fighting for Ethiopia.

The representative, noting the various services of Cubans in Ethiopia, indicated that Cubans providing medical service in Black Lion, St. Paul and Menelik hospitals in Addis Ababa are highly qualified medical professionals.

Dr Tahimi Gomez, representative of the Cuban medical team, also expressed the team’s motivation and commitment to provide their service.
