The airport in Holguin is experiencing a significant growth.The Frank Pais International Airport in the Cuban city of Holguin has paved the way to grow in its operations the current year and therefore expect to receive some 46 weekly flights from Canada, England, Italy and Germany mainly.

According to the Airport's managers, this year the number of passengers, airplanes and cargo will grow, mostly after a larger commercialization of Holguin as a tourist destination, which is the third most important in Cuba.

The Holguin airport reached significant outcomes last year, among them an increase in incomes, profits and an important increase in the clients’ satisfaction up to 98 percent.

According to local reports, clients' stay decreased at the time some more than 7,500 passengers above plan flew equal to the previous year.

The staffers from the two terminals at the Frank Pais Airport in Holguin city are committed to raising the quality of services, and achieving higher efficiency in operations as well as meeting time of arrival and departure both in national and international flights. (Translated by Radio Angulo)
