02/14/2011. A handicraft fair was inaugurated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, organized by the Fund of Cultural Assets, the National Fine Arts Council and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce.

Fine artists Liz Maray Hernandez, Maria Adelfa Rodriguez and Otto Acosta are already in that Caribbean nation for the event’s preparations, the www.cubaminrex.cu Web site reported.

The venue of the event, entitled Cuban Craft Fair, is the area of the port’s Cruise Terminal, a very central spot.

Culture authorities of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines said that the fair, which will run until February 16, will open new doors for cooperation with Cuba.
