Feb 12, 2011 16:04 Moscow Time. “Russian literature is still much in demand in Cuba – mainly, manuals of the Russian language, modern fiction and popular science,” said the leading expert of the Cuban “Arte y Literatura” publishing house Víctor R. Malagón at the opening of a Russian pavilion at an international book fair in Havana this Friday.

Over 100 Russian publishing houses are presented at the fair. For Russian editors, it marks a start of regaining the high positions which Russian literature once occupied in Cuba.

“We are very glad to see Russian books at our fair again,” said Mr. Malagón.
