From April 24-May 2, 2011. U.S. Labor for Friendship with Cuba is the program consultant for Marazul Charters, Inc. Marazul, which is a licensed travel service provider, is organizing all the arrangements for this delegation. Marazul organized all arrangements for the previous delegation in January 2010 as well.

To qualify, you must work full-time for a trade union or be a full-time academic in this field.If anyone is interested, or knows someone who is interested, that meets the above referenced qualifications or has questions if they qualify, they should contact Bob Guild at Marazul at bguild@... and he will send you details on the arrangements, the qualifications, and application form.

The cost of the program is $1,534 double occupancy and $1,679 single occupancy which includes roundtrip air from Miami, Cuban visa, accommodations at the Hotel Victoria, breakfast daily, several additional meals, bi-lingual guide and full research program.. Delegates are responsible for their own air fare TO Miami.

ABOUT U.S. Labor for Friendship with Cuba: The mission and goals of USLFC is as follows: (1) To provide information about how the CTC ( The Cuban Labor Federation) is dealing with Cuba's new economic policies within the context of Socialism, as well as to learn how Cuban workers have made advancements under a different economic system than ours (2) To promote Bi-Lateral relations between Cuban Trade Unions and U.S. Unions, (3) To demand that our Government end the economic blockade against Cuba, as well as to be apprised by the CTC how the Blockade has harmed the Cuban people, (4) To demand that the U.S. allow its citizens to travel to Cuba freely (5) To learn how full economic and trade relations can help workers from both our countries in providing economic opportunities, and (6) To demand that the U.S. free the five patriotic Cubans that have been unjustly imprisoned in the U.S. for almost twelve years for fighting terrorism emanating from Miami by Right Wing Cuban exiles.
