Saint Kitts and Nevis is giving the last touches to the preparations to receive the 3rd Caribbean Movie Itinerant Exhibit that include this time 143 films of filmmakers of the region and its Diaspora.

Organizers of the event are preparing two venues for the films, among them the local movie picture "Wrap Party" directed by Jeffrey Phipps.

According to the schedule published by the press, documentary films, fiction films and cartoon films in English, French and Spanish will be exhibited up to February 8.

Besides St. Kitts and Nevis, this third edition includes presentations in cinema centers in 31 Caribbean island territories, and in Latin America.

This project started in 2006 to familiarize the Caribbean public with the local filmography and foster regional integration.

From Cuba, prominent filmmakers in the area choose the best audiovisual products and together with the coordinating committees, they organize the presentations.
