12:02, February 03, 2011. The Bolivian and Cuban governments on Wednesday signed a document to reaffirm their commitment to maintain sound ties.

The document was signed by Bolivian Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca and his visiting Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez during a ceremony hosted in the Bolivian Foreign Ministry building.

Choquehuanca thanked Rodriguez' visit and the support given by Cuba to Bolivia on health and education sectors.

"This meeting and signature of agreements strengthen the good ties, not only between the governments but between the people," Choquehuanca said.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez said the meeting was very productive and confirmed the good moments of the ties between both countries.

"The document makes a synthesis of all the common efforts in a way that both people and governments face the problems of the current world," Rodriguez said.
