The mentor of WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (41-2, 38KOs), Fritz Zdunek, shared his thoughts about his boxer's next world title defense on March 19, against undefeated Olympic champion and mandatory challenger Odlanier Solis (17-0, 12KOs) of Cuba.

Solis is a fast boxer, he has good technique, which is inherent in being a student of the Cuban school of boxing, but he lacks experience in professional boxing, and he has never met with any big-name opponents. So, no doubt, Vitali will be able to cope with him. In addition, there is indiscipline and laziness [with Solis]. It would not hurt him to throw away 15-pounds," Zdunek told FE.

Solis' physical condition puts Zdunek under the impression that he's most dangerous in the first round and then his body turns on him.

"Solis is dangerous only in the first round - continued Zdunek. "Then he will need to find time to get a breather, but Vitali won't make that possible for him. I am confident that the championship belt will stay with us. I do not think that the battle will be easy, but hopefully it will end by knockout in the seventh or eighth round."
