The Angolan official, who will be visiting until January 21, was invited by the Cuba government.

According to a note from the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit aims to strengthen the relations of friendship and solidarity between the Republics of Angola and Cuba.

Piedade Dias dos Santos was seen off at February 4 International Airport in Luanda by ministers and senior representatives of the government, and officials from the Cuban embassy in Angola.

This visit demonstrates the excellent relations and cooperation between the two states, Cuban interim charge d'affairs Reinaldo Derivet told Prensa Latina, Cuba and Angola collaborate in areas such as health, education and construction, among others.mh/rab/ycf/obf
