ADEN, Jan. 01 (Saba) - Yemen and Cuba discussed on Saturday in Aden governorate the bilateral cooperation in the academic education field.

This came in a meeting gathered Aden University Rector Abdul-Aziz Bin Habtoor and the Cuban ambassador to Yemen Boina Bintaro Reyes Acosta.

Bin Habtoor praised the role the Cuban doctors play in enhancing the medical and academic experiences in the country for more than 37 years, noting to the current cooperation in establishing the Medical Education Center, which benefits the teaching staff in areas of teaching methods, preparing the teaching plans and the educational curriculum.

For his part, the Cuban ambassador affirmed his country's keenness on strengthening its relations with Yemen in various fields, describing the Cuban-Yemeni ties as excellent.HA/AF
