Escrito por Dayami Interián García. martes, 28 de diciembre de 2010. El-Aaiun, SADR, Dec 28 (Prensa Latina) The gratitude the Sahrawi people feel towards Cuba is incomparable, with only the sands of the desert a reminder of the geographic distance between the two peoples.
As soon as the Algerian Air Force plane landed at Tindouf military airport, the Cuban delegation of artists and other cultural figures enjoyed a warm welcome before giving their second and final performance there.
It was just a small sign of gratitude from people who say they are indebted to a sister nation that has been an example of challenge, determination, and friendship for over 35 years.
The Cuban Revolution "has trained our sons and healed our patients, and we will never forget that," said the governor of that province in the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Mohamed Lamin Dadi.
Sahrawis who studied in Cuba call themselves "Cubans or Cuba-rawis," and they are the best examples of honesty, discipline, and many positive values, he said when welcoming the Cuban delegation.rab/dig/ucl. Modificado el ( martes, 28 de diciembre de 2010 )
