12/06/2010. Meditex medical clinic, where Cuban collaborators are working, opened on Monday a new neurophysiology service, with high technology equipment produced by the Center for Neurosciences of Cuba.

The general director of the clinic, Dr. Jose Ernesto Hernandez Guerra, said that in the institution will begin to operate equipment Neuronica 5 and Medicic 5.

Hernandez pointed out that these new technologies are useful to confirm the diagnosis of conditions that damage the nervous system.

These equipments will enable the completion of a group of tests that help physicians from different specialties in the diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of their Angolan patients, by providing quantitative tools for evaluation, said Hernandez.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Angola, Pedro Ross Leal, was present in the opening ceremony of the clinic.
