The Cuban drugs will help Bolivians battle hepatitis B, influenza, leptospirosis and dengue fever, Nila Heredia Miranda said while touring the Center of Genetic and Biotechnology Engineering (CIGB) in west Havana, according to official news service AIN.

Bolivia is particularly interested in Heberprot-P, a drug that helps alleviate diabetes symptoms. No Cuban medication is registered in Bolivia yet, but Cuba is in charge of setting up a medical registry for the ALBA bloc. Both Cuba and Bolivia are members of ALBA.
