Mexico, Nov 16 (EFE) .- The remains of three Mexicans who died in a plane crash in Cuba, on 4 November were identified by forensic Cuba, was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) in Mexico.

There are already five Mexicans identified from a total of seven who died in the crash of a plane, from the Aerocaribbean Cuban company, covering the flight from Santiago de Cuba-La Habana.

The aircraft crashed in an area of the central province of Sancti Spiritus, killing its 68 occupants,40 were Cubans and 28 foreigners.

The Foreign Ministry said Tuesday in a statement that medical examiners at the Legal Medicine Institute of Havana achieved the identification of the Mexicans.

As in the two previous cases, the Foreign Ministry declined to give the names of the three victims identified.The source indicated that they stay in close collaboration with the Cuban authorities, "who continue to work intensively in the process of recognition of other passengers. "

The Foreign Ministry has agreed to assist "promptly to the relatives of the seven Mexicans who lost their lives in the accident with respect to the transfer of remains to national territory. "
