Escrito por Ana Luisa Brown. viernes, 29 de octubre de 2010. Beijing, Oct 29 (Prensa Latina) Over 30 Chinese companies will exhibit their products at the 28th International Havana Trade Fair next week, in the context of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and China.

Cuban embassy sources told Prensa Latina that participation was greater than in previous fairs, coinciding with the Sept. 28 anniversary.

This year, 28 companies will exhibit at the Chinese pavilion, nine companies more than last year, in an exhibition area of 662 square meters.

Some of the participants are attending the fair for the second time and sources mentioned Haier (electrical appliances) GEELY, International Corporation (automobile) and JMC (Transportation equipments), among others.

The 8th Meeting of the China-Cuba Business Committee will be held in the framework of the fair, with a view to continue increasing economic and commercial links.

The sources recalled that many of those countries maintain historical links with Cuba while others have begun to do so recently and are taking advantage of the new contacts to intensify them.

Executives from over 50 countries will gather at this fair, including Canada,Spain, Brazil and Venezuela.mh/rab/abo/mv/lam
