High-Ranking North Korean Military Official to Arrive in Cuba on Thursday

2010.10.28 - 13:18:41 / [email protected]. HAVANA, CUBA.- Vice Marshal Ri Yong Ho, head of the General Staff of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of North Korea, will arrive in Havana on Thursday for an official visit to Cuba.

A press release from the Ministry of the Cuban revolutionary Armed Forces (MINFAR) published by Granma newspaper announces that during his stay in the island, the visitor and his accompanying delegation will visit military units, higher education MINFAR centers, and places of historic and cultural interest.

The official welcoming ceremony will take place on Friday at the mausoleum of El Cacahual.
