2010.10.12 - 14:17:52 / [email protected]. HOLGUIN, CUBA.- The “Heroes of July 26”mechanical production enterprise, in the eastern Cuban province of Holguin, manufactures agricultural implements for the rice program in Cuba.

Trade specialists from this entity Luis Torres praised the quality of a tractor-hopper with capacity of 140 quintals of wet grain designed by engineers of the entity of the Ministry of Iron and Steel Industry, and plows to form and break rice dikes, said, the trade specialist.

Another important work is the repair of 200 agricultural machineries, especially trailers, operation that was contracted by the National Rice Group.
 
Also this factory, located south of the city of Holguin, produce, plows, seeders and other means of animal and motor traction for various crops and sugar cane.

Torres said their priority is to fulfil their export commitments to seven countries, including Venezuela. Also, they produce the spare parts for the machinery which ensures a lasting useful life for the equipment.

This enterprise also builds machinery used in the construction material industry to produce gravel, sand and others.
