Cuban Vice President Heads to Russia

Cabrisas will be received in the Russian capital by his counterpart Igor Sechin, Prensa Latina reported.

At present, bilateral relations between Cuba and Russia are in a dynamic development phase that covers several fields of economy, politics, education and culture, according to sources of the Cuban foreign ministry.

Cabrisas concluded on Friday his second official visit to China this year. Before leaving the Asian country, he met with Vice President Xi Jinping at the Grand Palace of the People.

During his four-day stay in China, Cabrisas fulfilled a packed agenda for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
