Now they will have to wait to see who will be their rivals in the important phase scheduled for October 4-6 in the cities of Roma and Florence from where the semifinalists will come out (8-9/Roma, Modena and Florence) and then the finalists (10/Roma).

Other teams who have secured their presence in the third round are the Czech Republic (2-0) and the United States (1-1) in pool L in Ancona, where the Czechs hammered the Cameroonians 3-0.

In pool I in Catania, Spain (2-0) and Russia (1-1) were the ones to pass to the next round, leaving Egypt out of the championship.

The order of the qualified teams in pools G (Catania), M (Milan) and N (Ancona) will be defined later today after the Italia-Puerto Rico, Argentina-Japan and Brazil-Bulgaria games take place, in that order.

However, the Germans (1-1) in pool G, the French (1-1), in M, and the Brazilians (1-0) and Bulgarians (1-0), in N have already secured their places among the 12 teams moving to the next round. (ACN)
