The capital player Rudy Reyes Erice became the preset 34 Cuban player to attend the next World Baseball Qualifying Competition to be held in Puerto Rico.

The call is intended to reinforce the work of preparation in the terrain, especially around the shortstop.

Those aspiring to integrate the Cuban team to this event, which will receive other 12 squads, returned to training this Friday.

As a previous training, Cuba will face Nicaragua from the 22nd to the 26th at Nelson Fernandez stadium in San Jose de las Lajas, in the future province of Mayabeque, and the capital Latinoamericano Stadium, respectively.

The first three fights will take place from 8 p.m. and the last two on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. and on Sunday from 2 p.m. Upon completing these challenges, the team to represent the island at the World Baseball Classic and Pre Pan-American Qualifying Competitions will be announced.
